Flora Alexander
Flora is Vice President of Advocacy and Influence, leading a global team of advocates who deliver tangible change for and with IRC clients through direct and indirect influence on decisionmakers. Flora joined the IRC from UNICEF, where she spent six years leading and reinvigorating global advocacy across UNICEF’s 190 country offices. Before this, Flora spent nine years at Save the Children in a range of advocacy leadership roles, before taking on the role of Chief of Staff. She has regularly deployed to diverse humanitarian and development contexts to lead advocacy strategy development and execution. In her early career, Flora worked for the UK government, a tech start-up, and as head of policy for a think tank. She has a Masters in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University, and is originally from Scotland.
