Amanda Smith
Amanda Smith has experience across diverse aspects of fundraising, including strategic partnerships, donor management, events, and digital marketing. She joined the IRC in October 2023 as the Partnerships Support Officer, Research & Innovation to support Airbel on business development. Now, she will be taking on the role of Senior Officer, Health Partnerships, serving as a bridge between private fundraising and the Health Unit, with a TTA to the Movement Against Malnutrition. After working closely with the Malnutrition GRIP at Airbel, she is thrilled for the opportunity to be part of scaling these critical solutions. Prior to joining the IRC, she completed a Masters of International Development with a specialization in Humanitarian Emergencies at The London School of Economics. Before going back to school, she was a fundraiser in New York City for seven years, most recently at the Lumos Foundation. Amanda completed her undergraduate degree at The George Washington University in Nonprofit Management. She is based in Washington, DC.
